ELIZABETHTON, TN –
After receiving notification via US mail of his acceptance into the next edition of “Who’s Who – The Ultimate Guide, Musician and Songwriters’ Edition 2017”, sources confirmed this week that Bob Dylan will travel to Elizabethton, Tennessee to accept his copy of the book in person.
Mr. Dylan last year won the Nobel Prize for Literature but was unable to travel to Stockholm to accept the award due to prior commitments. Said a spokesperson: “Bob was very disappointed he could not make the trip to accept the last award, but was glad that accepting this honor from Who’s Who The Ultimate Guide will fit in to his busy schedule”.
“Who’s Who The Ultimate Guide” is one of the Premiere Who’s Who Guides for people who are leaders in their fields. The Musician and Songwriters Edition is a biannual publication that lists the very best musicians and songwriters in every town in America. Only artists whose talents fit the criteria of the guide are eligible to have their names printed in them. And they are given priority over the general public to purchase the books so they can see their name in print, or on handsome plaques, key chains, or trophies.
Giselle Williams, Head of Customer Service for Who’s Who The Ultimate Guide said that they were happy to have Mr. Dylan come into the office to receive his copy of the book. Asked whether anyone would want to get Mr. Dylan’s autograph when he visits, she said she wasn’t sure. But if someone did want it, they could probably just make a xerox of the signature on his check, which he’ll need to remit in order to receive his edition. “If you talk to him, please tell Mr. Dylan the total will be $69.95, and we stop selling books promptly at a quarter to five each workday, so he needs to get here on time. Also, I’m afraid we cannot wave the shipping and handling due to insurance reasons, which will be an additional $14.95.”
