President Responds To Murder Of 11 With Blistering Assault On Dodger’s Manager

WASHINGTON DC –

Within hours of the brutal slaying of 11 Jewish people in house of worship in Pittsburgh, President Trump left no stone unturned as he forcefully assailed the Manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers for pulling pitcher Rich Hill in favor of a reliever in the seventh inning of game four of the World Series.

The president spared no criticism on the heels of the senseless act of violence:

Watching the Dodgers/Red Sox final innings. It is amazing how a manager takes out a pitcher who is loose & dominating through almost 7 innings, Rich Hill of Dodgers, and brings in nervous reliever(s) who get shellacked.

Although the nation was still reeling from another mass shooting by a gunman using an assault rifle to kill defenseless Americans, President Trump was laser-focused in targeting what he felt was a terrible injustice that resulted in needless runs being scored by the Boston Red Sox.

Incensed at the apparent lack of protection for the Dodger’s lead, the president continued to Tweet:

4 run lead gone. Managers do it all the time, big mistake!

Trump supporters rallied to the president’s side, saying that while it was sad those people were gunned down by an antisemitic terrorist who owned several guns he called his “Glock family”, the Dodger’s manager should have stuck with his starter, since he was having no problem holding the Red Sox down.

“While the president is obviously distraught about the people who lost their lives in the synagogue shooting, that does not excuse the fact that clearly Rich Hill was getting the job done,” said a Republican strategist, “and the president is just pointing out that he should have been given the chance to finish the game.”

In response to the president’s attack, Dodger pitcher Rich Hill released a statement saying:

“There was a mass shooting yesterday. The focus, in my opinion, of the president is to be on the country, and not on moves that are made in a World Series game.”

Mobilization of the National Guard to Dodger stadium is expected to be ordered within the next 12 hours.
