Millions Of Voters Pre-Ordering Mortal Kombat To Prepare For 2020 Election

In anticipation of a brutal 2020 election season, video game market analysts this week said voters across the nation have been pre-ordering millions of copies of the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 in the hopes that they can toughen up before the Iowa straw poll next year.

The 11th installment of the popular fighting video game developed by NetherRealm Studios is set to be released on April 23, 2019. However worried voters are snatching it up now to avoid being caught without it.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen next year, but I know I will be ready for whatever shit goes down,” said Timony Carpaccio of Welter, New York. “If those Trump supporters want some of this, they had better bring it. Because I’m going to be playing this game nonstop every night for the next 14 months”.

“The libtards are not going to know what hit them,” said Brandon Selnick of Roanok, Arkansas, who has been playing Mortal Kombat for six years. “I’ve got combo skills and probably around 100,000 fatalities. So, that’s what they’re going to be dealing with. Come at me brah.”

Although there have been no rumors of politician avatars being added to the game, a spokesman for Shao Kahn, the brutal warlord and Emperor of the mystical realm Outworld, released a statement in response to questions about the upcoming campaign season:

“Fight!”
