Harrison Butker Offers To Speak At Holocaust Memorial Event

Sensing momentum after his recent successful speaking engagement at the commencement ceremonies for Benedictine University, Kansas City Chiefs Placekicker Harrison Butker on Thursday offered to speak at an upcoming memorial event planned for the holocaust in June in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Feeling that the time was right for him to address more serious subject matter, the NFL player said he would pay for his own travel if the organization sponsoring the holocaust event would allow him a 30 minutes slot to speak off the cuff about one of mankind’s greatest tragedies.

“I have a lot to say about all kinds of things,” said the record holder for the Chief’s longest-ever field goal. “Politics, history, medical science, anthropology, affirmative action, phrenology… I have opinions about tons of stuff, and my calendar is wide open until mini-camp in August.”

Referring to the content of his commencement speech which emphasized the role of women as homemakers, criticized women and abortion rights, and targeted the LGBTQ community, Butker said it was just the beginning. “I have not even scratched the surface”, he stated.

While sponsors of the memorial event could not be reached for comment, as of press time the NFL reportedly was offering the organization a 2 million dollar donation if they would agree not to have any speakers at all.
